Tammy Golson - Wedding Planner!
Tammy Golson combines her Midwestern values with Manhattan experience to bring warmth, sincerity and style to your event.
Here are some planning tips / ideas she gave us:
* Invest in artist paper items then re-purpose them in your home after the wedding. Original table numbers could be used in your photo album to mark you top 10 favorite moments of your wedding or down the road in a nursery as framed wall decor.
* Embrace your neighborhood. Look next door before searching beyond…when planning your rehearsal dinner, wedding reception or brunch. Hosting an event at a local restaurant allows you to share your neighborhood with friends and family from out of town, will make reliving your wedding day easy and frequent and will connect you to your community in a significant way.
* Honor your closest friends or family members in a less traditional way. In lieu of a traditional bridal party, consider hosting a welcome reception on Thursday evening, a ladies lunch on the Friday before your wedding or a spa day. Your friends may appreciate this gesture vs. their having to invest in gowns that don’t flatter, over-priced alterations and matching shoes.
