      <description><![CDATA[<p>If you have to do a wedding five hours out of New York City you couldn&#8217;t ask for a better backdrop than <a href="http://www.wiawaka.org/" title="Wiawaka">Wiawaka</a> right on Lake George. You&#8217;re immediately flung back in time to a bucolic, turn of the century artist&#8217;s retreat. The Adirondack theme is almost tangible. Since 1903  Wiawaka has been a women&#8217;s retreat. Kind of a great place for Monica and Katrina to get married. Congratulations!</p>

Wiawaka is derived from an Abenaki word meaning &#8220;great spirit of woman&#8221;. I&#8217;m guessing this is the Spirit Woman</p>
